"Sony Computer Entertainment America today announced details of the next PLAYSTATION3 (PS3) and PSP(PlayStation Portable) system software updates, adding new features to both platforms to benefit consumers. PS3 firmware update (v. 2.50) will include the implementation of advanced voice chat features for the PS3 Official Bluetooth Headset, the ability to capture screenshots in-game with supporting titles in the future, and enhancements to make the PlayStation Trophy interface more intuitive. The Force Unleashed Has Powerful First Week

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review
"It's been a long, long time since we've seen a good action-based Star Wars game hit consoles. Raven did the PC right with a handful of Jedi Knight titles, but console gamers have been left out in the cold on Hoth for many years now. LucasArts hopes to change all that with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a game that's been hyped not solely on its license and story, but its technology as well. Featuring such technical buzzwords as Digital Molecular Matter and naturalmotion's Euphoria engine, the game has brought a ton of promise to the table.
Does it deliver? Yes and no. It does enough things right, especially with regards to giving players the ability to wield the Force like we've never seen before, to make it a play-worthy effort for Star Wars fans everywhere, but it does so with a number of missteps that won't easily be overlooked." Dead Space Set to Ship Early - Oct. 14, 2008

The new baseball game for the Wii console lets players use the Wii Remote controller to mimic motions they might experience on a real baseball diamond. Available on October 14 in the previously announced Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack, the updated PSP will feature a new LCD screen with a wider color gamut and anti-reflection technology, as well as a built-in microphone to enhance both multi-player gaming and Skype calls. Harry Potter 6 delay?
"On Thursday, Hollywood studio Warner Bros announced that it had pushed the release of the feature film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from its previously scheduled November debut to July of next year, a delay of more than six months. Publisher Electronic Arts, meanwhile, has been underway with videogame adaptations of Half-Blood Prince for everything from Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to DS and PSP, all previously set to launch alongside the movie this November.
